I was interested in purchasing an extra Tesla mobile charger before my Telsa arrives in a few weeks. I found one on Craigslist but when I went to purchase it, I noticed the Tesla silver plating over the charging connector is missing. The guy selling it stated it came like that from the factory. It appears to still function normally, but I wanted to make sure his claim was valid.
The photo below is the actual connector. The typical Tesla silver plating I see in most mobile charging photos is missing. Is this normal?
