Hi!! Anyone in the Boulder/Denver area have experience with a good rim repair shop? It took me all of a week and a half to curb rash an Uber turbine on my new MYP. I’ve seen posts blaming the rims for curb rash. This was totally pilot error in my part. I simply was not paying attention enough in a parking lot. Thanks!! VelkySyr

I'm in the Denver area too, if you find a good place let me know. I'm going to be extra careful but I know it's likely bound to happen as I tend to park on the edge and try to distance from the next car

For SF/Bay Area I ended up just using Yelp and getting a few quotes locally. Pricing here is $100-$125 with one company mobile and willing to come to me to do the repair.

Join the club. Same happened to me. I've read so many threads about folks curbing their Uberturbines and I immediately attributed it to bad drivers. I've never curbed a rim in my life and I've owned over 10 cars, many of which were performance vehicles.

A local shop repaired the rim and it looks as good as new. Hope you can find a legit shop in Denver to get you taken care of.

Hi, we used alloy wheel repair specialist to take care of some rim rash on our model Y. They did an excellent job. Awrs wheel repair.com is their website.

Can anyone recommend a rim repair shop in Baltimore area? I have 2021 Model Y Performance, so the Uberturbines. One is... pretty scratched up.

In case you didn’t know, be careful using smart summon pulling your car in and out of a spot next to a curb because the side cameras will not “see” the curb. Just got a nice curb rash on my rim but managed to fix it myself for $28 with Dremmel, sandpaper and some spray paint from Home Depot...
