Unable to start vehicle. BMS error

I get this error once in a while. Once I press the brake pedal, it goes away and I can drive it normally and it doesn't come back for several weeks or months.
Should I be concerned?

Contact Service. They will do an OTA diagnostic and advise.

I know that I can contact them, but since it's out of warranty, I don't expect them to tell me anything without charging me a diagnostics fee. I have seen some other BMS posts, but not that particular one that I have

If it's battery related, you're still covered.

A reasonable person would deduce this could be battery related due to BMS being in the error message, so you shouldn't be charged a diagnostic fee either.

Did you have trying a reboot? And the BMS is part off the battery pack it is under warranty

Just got this error twice this afternoon. I know this is an old thread but did the car ever leave anyone stranded? I made an appointment and of course it's couple weeks out. Fun part is battery warranty expires at the end of the month.
