Undertray Removal When Jacked Up On Pucks

My garage has suggested doing some pre-emptive protective greasing of the suspension etc. when my wife’s M3LR gets its winter tyres put on next week. So can the under tray on the car be removed when it is up on the lift and sitting on its hockey pucks ? If not I’ll just get him to grease the bits he can see.

Yes. The jack location is under the steel battery casing. The front and rear wind panels are removable with the car in the air.

There are 2. One front one back. They are each held on by a dozen or so bolts. Should be pretty easy to remove

What is there to grease? I’d imagine all the drive and suspension bearings are sealed for life - however long that might be. There hasn’t been anything to grease other than hinges and locks on any car I’ve owned in the last 20 years or so.

I mean, I like a grease nipple as much as the next man, but I’m pretty sure there’s none on the Tesla.

Appreciated. He can see what he can coat when he removes them. I have a M3 also and when it was on the ramp it did look a bit in need off some grease. I’ll take his word for it. Anything to make the car last longer.
