Unintended app update benefit

(Goofy post leading in to a holiday weekend)

So... I got locked out of the house the other evening when I went for a walk to return and find my electric door keypad battery failed without the usual warning.

I spent about 40 minutes trying to break in and was preparing to break a window, when it dawned on me that I saw a Homelink icon one of the recent Tesla App updates... duh.

15 seconds later I was inside.... lol.

Homelink button has been there for quite some time. I've used it many times as a convenient way to access entry to my garage, even though the battery in my outside keypad hasn't let me down recently!

Yup, not sure how many owners either know about it or at least have tried it to reinforce memorization.
