unlocking charge port for multiple cars on a wall charger

When I have tesla visitors to my house, I run into having to find a way to unlock the guest car currently connected to the wall charger in order move the charge cable back my car. Is there a way to disconnect the first car from wall charger without hunting down the owner? I can see tesla insuring that no one can unplug your car while you are a way, but for my home use it has proven inconvenient on a few occasions.

I dont think so. I cant imagine how large a house must be to have to "hunt down the owner" when they are at your house charging, but the charger is locked while it is charging and the owner needs to unlock it.

If you can get ahold of your guests via phone, they can unlock the charge port from their app.

I suggest you charge your visitors a Tesla idle charger parking rate. And then get another charger for yourself using the fees you charged the visitors.

Did you try to power off the charger? When I charge Tesla via J1772-to-Tesla adapted, the car unlocks the charger (adapter) when I unplug the power (remove the J1772 plug from the adapter).
