Upcoming: more power, range, supercharging for SR+

On the Tesla conference call tonight, Elon mentioned a few awesome things coming:

• Better smart summon based on learnings from the 1 million times it's been used since V10
• 5% more power for Model 3
• More range on SR+ by 10 miles (already announced)
• Faster supercharging on Model 3 SR/SR+

This is all via SW update. As he has said over again, there's no car in history where you get more features and the car gets better over time.

For the P3D+ with PUP, if it is a 5% torque increase up to the new HP limit, then it will be about 3.05s 0-60 without rollout, or 3.35 seconds with rollout. With a 160-lb driver. The P3D Stealth might be slightly faster due to slightly smaller tire outer diameter (0.5%).

Maybe people with light wheels (but no other weight reductions) will be able to break 3 seconds without rollout.

A 5% torque increase will be getting pretty close to the traction limit of the Michelin MXM4 tires. But not quite enough to break them free on a good surface.
