Upgrading EAP to FSD

After reading confusing information about current reduced FSD costs and also reading about Elon’s tweet that FSD cost may be going up substantially after April 1, I am unsure what to do. The current upgrade cost for me listed on the Website is still an expensive 5k, not the 2 or 3k I have been
seeing mentioned. What’s the skinny on this??

There was a short time when FSD price went down from $5k to $2k. Now its back to what it was always was and according to news, will only be going up around May 1st. Wait until April 22nd news and see if it will make sense.

The $2000 EAP to FSD upgrade price was short lived. Basically too many existing Tesla owners complained that they paid more for the upgrade so Elon cancelled the discount.
