Upgrading from 2013 S85 to 2015 P90D!!!

A year ago I purchased a used 2013 S85, fairly basic model.

Now I'm close to finalizing a trade in toward a 2015 P90D!

It's an inventory model that is discounted by 18k

Nearly fully loaded, only options missing are the child seats and ludicrous mode.
I'm so excited!!!
Finally I'll have a pano roof! auto pilot! and most importantly the 2 second difference to 60mph

I've been going back and forth between a brand new 90D or the inventory p90d
Went with the P90D because... why not?

only downside is my insurance rate will go up 80 dollars per month (AAA)

I loved it when I test drove a model s with it, it's so futuristic!

I test drove a P90D with ludicrous today and boy is that car quick!
But non ludicrous P90D is a huge upgrade from what I have now so I'm not in any hurry to get ludicrous mode

And might be ANOTHER Arm and a Leg with your insurance company? Yet Another $80 a month wouldn't be what I would call a free upgrade! Luckily I'm old and insurance doesn't go up by leaps and bounds compared to young folk ...

Is that something they would find out about? if I were to have ludicrous mode added in a year or so.

I think the problem would arise if you had an accident and then the Insurance company found out that there had been "Modifications to the engine" (I think my policy says something like that ... if it says EXACTLY that all my days will be Christmases!) and then decided you were in breach of the policy Small Print
