Used Model S - 40K

Have a car I brought home (on a test drive) for what I feel is a pretty great price. I have until the end of the weekend to decide.. There has been multiple price reductions on this, on the lot since february, from 49K and recently dropped again yesterday to 41K. Perhaps Covid really hurt this Mini Dealership, but figured this wouldn't have sat that long. The rep, an acquaintance, basically told me they've dropped the price yesterday again as they do often at the end of the month to try to hit their used car goals. Obviously a bit of a push to buy there - but we know this is often the case at used dealerships.

Nevertheless - I've gone back and forth between a used model S or a new Model 3 for a while. Is this a good price for a pretty clean late-year 2016 with 41,800 miles on it, or is this not as good of a deal as I tend to believe it is? Good value here for this Tesla from a reputable Mini Dealer?

Pre-Owned 2016 Tesla Model S 75

"This beautiful 2016 Tesla Model S 75 has been kept in great condition and is a late 2016 model giving you the redesigned nose cone and upgraded look. This vehicle was purchased from a private seller so you can rest assured this was not a vehicle Tesla rejected and sent to the auction. Stop by or call and schedule a time to find out what makes these Tesla's so special and why Mall of Georgia MINI is Your Georgia Electric Vehicle Headquarters"

The car you are considering looks nice enough but only has a few months left of the original 4/50 warranty (of course, much longer on the battery and drive unit). Tesla has a number of cars with similar or fewer miles for similar or less money and all with a 4/50 warranty.

Some examples:
2016 Model S | Tesla - 2016 MS 75 with 27k miles for $42,600
2016 Model S | Tesla - 2016 MS 75 with 37k miles for $41,700
2016 Model S | Tesla - 2016 MS 75 with 40k miles for $40,000
2016 Model S | Tesla - 2016 MS 75 with 41k miles for $39,200

I voted average deal but as always it may be more valuable to some people based on color preference, equipment etc. My friend just bought a December 2015 build p90d for 44k with extended warranty. Deals are out there if you look around. I personally would buy a non performance car and would want more warranty.
