Used Tesla Values Moving Forward

What is everyone's thought on the values of older Teslas moving forward. Will advances in battery packs over the next year or two really sink the values of cars with 60, 75, or even 90 KwH battery packs. For example, the 2016-17 Model X's with 75 KwH battery packs (rated at around 230 mile range) are still selling at close to 65-70k. What's the market for a car like that look like if a $88,000 Model X in 2020-21 goes closer to 400 rated miles.

My own opinion is that there wont be a market, at least to pay a premium, for older Teslas (not talking about the Model 3) that will be creeping closer to half the range of a new one. Not saying there isnt a market, there just wont be one willing to pay a premium

It also feels like Tesla is setting the market (albeit very high) with their own used program. How long can that last?

Love to hear thoughts on this. Thanks!
