Using Homelink with community gates

I've installed a Homelink module in my MYP, and it works fine for my garage. I have two gates coming into my community, both with same code. I used a gate fob to program one of the gates into my car, and I have it set to pop up a Homelink menu when I get within 70 feet of my garage or that gate.

Two questions:
1. Is there a way to copy the gate actuation for the second gate so that I don't have to go over to it and program it with the FOB? (Or is this not possible because GPS is involved?)
2. I'd like the gate to open up automatically when I approach it from the outside only. Now it wants to open the gate whether I'm coming or going, and when you exit you don't need to press anything as there is a sensor. Homelink only opens the gate on the other side of the road for incoming traffic, and I don't want to be opening that gate every time I drive out.
