The 3.6 version of the Tesla iPhone app has none of the new features for me (media, software update management, etc.). Looks just the same as the previous version. Tried deleting and reloading the app - no change.
Yes, our model S is at Version 2018.39.6 (Version 9). Anyone?

These features are not directly on the Tesla app, but your phone and your S are now linked.

on the S: Allow Mobile Control
on your iPhone;
connect via bluetooth
allow sharing
play an iTunes song
touch the red circle at the bottom
touch "Tesla Model S"

song plays on the S

Same with Google Maps - just share your route to the S

might be more apps that share, still learning

Yes, already done on both S and 3
Turns out in my case, everything seems to work when I'm in the car. Trying to think of another app where all of the options don't show up (media) unless you are in a specific location. Also, don't know where it is that you find 'media setting' on the center screen controls. Can't find it in the 'Controls' menu. Didn't need it, though, once the 'Media' option appeared on my phone when in the car.

I notice my iPhone Tesla app has to be pointed at the car I want to share the Google route with since I have two Teslas.
