Wagga to Cooma over the Snowy

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has went from Wagga to Cooma over the Snowy mountains? With that incline at Talbingo and over the range, would you make it easy in a M3 RWD? Thanks for any experiences

If you go via Tarcutta and charge to 100% there, you can then go via Tumut and make it to Cooma in a SR+, I have done this going the other way from Cooma to Albury. Otherwise go direct to Tumut and charge at the destination charger at the brewery.

Would depend on the model year.
Not much in my 2020 SR+ from either Gundagai or Tarcutta. I'd think a 2022 RWD it would be easy.

A Better Route Planner (ABRP) is great for these kind of questions.

I always seem to take that highway in the other direction. I can make it to Gungadai Supercharger in my 1/2020 SR+ from Cooma without even overcharging it. Though I always stop for a nice long break on one of the three-phase destination chargers at Tumut River Brewing Co. It removes any hint of anxiety, even without sampling their brewed produce!

Wagga is a bit further off the range than Gundagai, so maybe consider that stop at Tumut for a full sit-down lunch.

Cheers. Yes, it is the 2022 RWD. Was thinking I could go through Canberra but just seems a bit of an out of the way to do it. It would be great if they got a fast charger at Tumut. Even a destination charger at Adaminaby

ABRP plan for 2022 RWD says if you start on 100% you'll get there on 10%.

If that's cutting it a bit fine, stopping at Evie Tarcutta is only a 10km / 8 minute detour (plus a short charge, say 10min).

Thanks for that. If it was winter and some snow it would definitely be very tight. I think I would be confident going from Cooma to Wagga since there's a lot more down hill. Tumut or Talbingo really would be a good place even for a 50kw charger
