Wall charger and torque driver

If using torque driver is important in securing the wires during installation, why not just include it in the whole Wall charger package?? Most people don't have that handy around their houses.

Well....most people aren't supposed to try installing a Wall Connector on their own.

They're also not a throw away tool like the cheap screwdrivers & wrenches included with your typical office chair that cost about $0.15 each to make.

Yeah, not going to be included in the box. If it was, I might consider getting a wall connector just so I could have a new tool!

I used torque wrenches all the time and auto/industrial techs know that is the proper way to tighten fasteners.
But for electrical lugs even on far larger wire we always did it by feel in 2 steps, 2nd step after the wire relaxes.
It doesn’t take either an artist’s touch or a torque driver

It absolutely is! Those electric connection torque specs are not to be taken lightly.

Tesla certified installers doesn’t mean a thing. The one that installed my 14-50 used a cheap receptical. Caused a dangerous condition. Used an industrial electrician the next time, who used all continuous duty parts.His attention to detail, especially when tightening the connections, was impressive.
