The time for Tesla to have a SuperBowl commercial will be with the introduction of the Gen 3/BlueStart product, when its a more affordable car.
It makes zero sense to do it now, they have more sales than they can manufacture product at the moment, and the Model S is too expensive for the majority of the SuperBowl target audience/demographic.

seriously, those car commercials just seem like a joke given the entry of the S on the Market. gas burners are just outmoded rehashed technology that is destroying the planet.

On Stupid Bowl commercial could pay for several Superchargers. Superchargers are far more important to Tesla's success.
