Water in trunk: under chargeport

Hi,
I had a soaked trunk Some weeks ago. Removed the liner of the trunk under the cover board.
Today I could localise where the water comes in. It is above the 2 ventilation inlets underneed the chargeport. So water is in between the outer plate and the inner plate of the trunk. Is that a problem? Or can I just seal around the ventilation holes and leave it at that? Here is a picture. I have a video too. Will put a link tomorrow.
Thx for the advice!

update: my ModelS is a used car when I bought it. I found out today that a few months before I bought it, rear left was repaired after an accident. Water is coming in at a seal that isn’t done correctly. It was done at a repair shop in cooperation with Tesla. Working on a repair the next weeks.
