Water Proof Key Cards

For the aquaphiles who own 3’s and are wondering where to leave your “key” when you go surfing, swimming, kayaking, cliff diving, etc. I can vouch for the info that a Tesla engineer relayed through my San Diego service center that the key cards that come with the car are indeed waterproof. ‍
I went surfing last week with a key card in my bathing suit pocket and the key card still works.
Get wet!

Forgot if it was on Reddit/FB/TMC but someone said it went through the washing machine by mistake but still worked afterwards.

All the electronics are completely sealed inside the plastic, so I would expect it to be waterproof.
