I spent weekend replacing Model s 2013 HID Headlamps!
I used Phillips brand D3S c1 bulbs from Amazon !
8 year old weak bulbs would not stay on ! Multiple resets
required !
Tip : if you DYI it yourself, I recommend that you keep track of the
larger push pins (mark to holes with a piece of duck tape) there are two
sizes !
also, the plug on bulb itself is a bugger to pull out, be patient !

i understand that the LED bulb replacements will defeat the lights on the
car shown on dashboard! I believe that the operating current of these bulbs is
less and will not be detached by software ! I choose the OEM bulbs !
