Weird burnt smell? Anyone else?

Hey there, I have had my MY for just about a month now and LOVE it. Lots of fun to drive, etc. But, when I open the windows while driving (weather has been lovely in TX the last couple of weeks), I get this really funky burnt smell from the car. The smell is definitely battery-esque, though the car does not appear to be overheating or having performance issues. It just smells gnarly while it's driving. Anyone else experiencing this? Do I need to worry?

Check the temperature of the brake rotors after driving a few miles. If the wheels have covers it would be best to first remove the wheel covers. Carefully place your hand close to the brake rotors. If one of the rotors seems warmer than the other 3 rotors then you probably have a brake pad that is rubbing. The brake caliper would need to be adjusted or replaced.
