I'm looking forward to the point when 3s are old enough to be out of warranty and not be valuable that we can see more 3 track cars. That, plus super chargers on tracks.

I was wondering if you still had yours (saw you on the m3forum when I joined), and what your times were like in the model 3 vs M3 I agree with a lot of your points in favor of tracking the tesla. And maintenance costs are a thing, definitely.

Here's hoping they put in superchargers at more tracks.

I don't have any direct comparisons yet, but based off of other similarly-prepared M3's I would guess the (BMW) is capable of being ~5-7 seconds faster than a Model 3 on the same tires on a ~3-3.5 mile course. Of course, there are many variables to take into account. Hoping next year I can get some better comparisons.
