Were early 70Ds with 230 EPA?

On Tesla website I see 70D CPOs mentioned with both 230 and 240 EPA.

In forums, some folks say their car never went beyond 230-232. Some say it goes around 240.

I called customer service and they don't know, talk to 'nearest service center' :)

Wonder if anyone can shed some light? Also, any way for me to figure out health of my battery ?

240 EPA. After 3 years and 60k miles I was around 230 on a full charge. I'm back at 240 now :D (main pack died, got a new loaner pack for now)

@S4WRXTTCS that's a little harsh (190), but not too far off from the truth. I've breached 200 miles on a trip multiple times, but only in the summer.

June 2015 S70D with 76k miles and I get 231 rated on full charge. I've gone 190 miles highway in warm weather and AC ~75mph and gotten to a supercharger and I remember having around 34 miles left.

Bought the car from a small dealer and they put Michelin Energy Saver Green X tires on it which is fine with me living in Florida.

Maybe real world would be 220ish?

Dec 2015 70D here (Canada). Yes, original 70D EPA spec was 386km rated = 240mi

After ~34months / 29,000km, I still get 347km (=216mi) on a 90% charge, so still on spec. Don’t supercharge too frequently but last time was also still on spec at 100% charge 386km rated = 240mi

FWIW my typically overnight charge is usually 65% - maybe keeping the battery in that middle zone and low mileage has helped keep battery happy. YMMV
