They managed to add in other car basics like door storage and back of seat storage but strangely still left out handles. Sigh.

Clothing hooks in the backseat are there.

The actual reason for the handles, egress/ingress, isn't really needed on the X at all. However lacking automatic seat adjustments, and being a very low vehicle and entry way smaller than the Model S, it's got more call for them as any Tesla save the Roadster.

Adding an automatic egress/ingress present style setting for the passenger seat power seat would really go a long way to dealing with the lack of the H-S handle.

ingress/egress seat movements help but when you've got an elderly relative getting in and out of the car you need a handle.
