What are these options on my music screen?

I don't know how to replicate this but while playing around with the music screen I happen to stumble into this menu that shows AM, FM, DAB, SXM. Does anyone know what these are? Selecting the option results nothing. I'm running version 2018.42.2.1 if that matters.

DAB would be "Digital Audio Broadcast"
and I would guess SXM = Sirius/XM satellite radio.
Maybe you got in some test mode somehow.

We've been told the hardware for AM is not there. But if that turns out to be false, that wold be fantastic, if only for those weather and traffic info AM radio stations in remote areas and mountains roads.

Most likely a software glitch. I believe the Tesla operating system is the same for all the cars. That means that hooks for features might be present in all of them even if the thing it could hook to is not there.

This is like the holes in a prefab bookshelf that you could use to put a shelf in, except you bought the 6-shelf version and not the 8-shelf one so you aren’t using those holes.

Normally, the vaneer would have covered them, and you’d never see them, but you managed to peel a layer off of your vaneer there... exposing frameworks in the UI that your car has nothing to connect to.

I’d avoid messing with that stuff to avoid crashing something...
