Hey All, been lurking for a bit trying to learn about Teslas here and have decided to buy a used 18 s100d from Tesla. Question is what do I need to know and be on the lookout for? What can I find out in advance, there are no pics available and have been unsuccessful in getting any maintenance history. So feel like I’m buying a little blind so looking for some help and insight from others that have walked the path before me. Thanks!

Without more info about the specific car, there’s not much we can tell you. How many miles, what options, when was it built, etc.? I have a late 2018 S100D and love it, but that doesn’t help you. One hardware consideration: Tesla switched from MCU1 to MCU2 in March 2018 (S and X), so try to find out which one you have.
