What get's downgraded to get to a 35K Model 3?

@YisSerL , it DOES appear that you would no longer get software updates "OTA" by what the connectivity pack says. You would get them over wifi, but not cellular, according to the above.

So the answer would be, you will still get software updates with standard connectivity, but would need to do so over wifi. This will effect anyone who does not have lifetime free premium connectivity, like those of us who bought Model 3's in the 4th quarter.

I was looking at the Model 3 detailed specification and noticed:

- Premium Connectivity (3 months included):
Satellite maps with live traffic visualization
In-car streaming media
Over-the-air updates via Wi-Fi & cellular

I was thinking that the Premium Connectivity was included for the first year?

I think it was a year, that must be new this quarter. It will be interesting to see what the official price will be.
