What is in the front bumper?

What is in the front bumper of the S? And why would the service center be working in the frunk during a glass replacement appointment?

This is how it looks like from inside, is yours with facelift or with nosecone? Only thing that I can think of is temperature sensor and front radar, they need to remove the bumper to reach for it.

There may be a radar inside the bumper, paticularly if it is very new or pre-2022. There have been stories of service disconnecting the radar in these cars where it is no longer used. Only the newest HW4 HD radar will eventually be used according to reports.

You can remove the little plastic thing that holds the light in the frunk and there was some stuff in there I didn’t know what it was
