So price/kwh partly depends on model??When I still had the P3D usually was 33-36c per kWh, this crept up from about 23-28 when they moved away from per minute pricing.
I’d check but our X has FUSC.
HumNo, It just doesn’t show a price per kWh on our MX because it has free unlimited supercharging.
Already equivalent to a 25-30mpg car (regular vs premium) if your average consumption is 3mi/kWh.I don't want to see price per mile using s.charger more than that of gas cars.
What gas price are you assuming?Already equivalent to a 25-30mpg car (regular vs premium) if your average consumption is 3mi/kWh.
Recently been seeing regular as low as $3 and premium as high as $3.80.What gas price are you assuming?
How does 3mi/kwh come? Like, what speed, AC on/off?
I'm M3LR, I guess it will be a "better case".Recently been seeing regular as low as $3 and premium as high as $3.80.
3mi/kWh is typical for highway speeds ~70-80 if you take the average of all models and variants. (Since you inquired about different pricing per model)
Probably closer to 3.5mi/kWh there, add ~7% in charging losses and you’re about on par with a 28mpg car that runs on regular on the low end of pricing ($3/gal) if fuel cost is the only consideration.I'm M3LR, I guess it will be a "better case".
I don't have a home in Texas. And charge at home as much as you can.
And at work if possible and your rates are good, certainly. And charge at home as much as you can.
When I still had a car with paid supercharging it seem like it was state wide that the pricing had crept up.It's crazy how expensive supercharging is when electricity in Texas is so cheap. I am only paying $0.112/kWh in North Texas. Maybe the price will come down as they build more chargers? It seems like they are trying to dissuade people from using Superchargers because they are so sparse in the DFW area.
Yeah, if you look at some threads from other states it seems like more of an across the board markup. When I Supercharged at Denison in January I paid $0.28/kWh and now it's $0.34/kWh. Not too expensive till you get closer to the metroplex where it goes to $0.38/kWh at the Shops at Legacy and during on peak at Austin its $0.44/kWhWhen I still had a car with paid supercharging it seem like it was state wide that the pricing had crept up.
It was one of the things that contributed toward selling the P3D and picking up a X5 45e.Yeah, if you look at some threads from other states it seems like more of an across the board markup. If you charge at home, it is super cheap. IKEA has reasonable L2 charging rates as far as paid charging goes if you can afford to work at the IKEA restaurant for the day.It was one of the things that contributed toward selling the P3D and picking up a X5 45e.
Whenever possible yes but if I have to travel within the state for meetings or other business purposes supercharging gets expensive if not taking the MX.If you charge at home, it is super cheap.
