Thanks for the concern. I went to visit family in Scotland and stayed a while to hike the Scottish west highlands and parts of Iceland. Back online now, though..
As an aside, I saw three Model Ss in Iceland (lots in Scotland). Iceland had a lot of Nissan Leafs as well. As I think I read @KarenRei post before, Iceland seems like a perfect spot for some charging infrastructure and EVs. Electricity is mostly geothermal and hydro, and it's relatively cheap. I visited a greenhouse and was told they pay about 10 euro cents per kWh. Compared to the ~$2+/liter petrol prices, the economics seem strongly in favor of EVs there.

It sounds like a wonderful vacation.
I don't think of Iceland as tropical, but I was right about the Island.
How can they be thinking about EV infrastructure if they don't have internet yet ? ;-)
