Which auto opening struts work?

I’m looking for front frunk and rear trunk stronger struts. I find it primitive that the trunk and front don’t open fully on release. Many designs out there, some with horrendous reviews.

Before I waste my money, which work well and which are to be avoided?

Be careful about wanting a rear boot to fully open on demand. If you reverse up to something even remotely close, the boot lid will hit it when it opens. Its swing profile was clearly not designed with unassisted opening in mind.

I bought really cheap ones off Amazon for £12 not expecting them to work but they just do, really useful for getting the Cable out of the Boot or putting anything in there. Until I saw your thread I'd actually forgotten they were not standard !
