Which direction should Tesla go as a company?

Tesla needs to and im sure will come out with a even more affordable ev around the 20,000 to 30,000 $ range so us broke ass college students can stop dreaming and actually get our hands on one!!

Tesla didn't really mention targeting the broke ass college student market, for obvious reasons. That's pretty much a used car market, and by the time the Gen 3 car starts hitting the used car lots you'll probably be out of college anyway. At least I hope so, unless you're on the Van Wilder plan.

I think the assembly in Netherlands at some point was discussed to get the cars classified as built in Europe. But I seem to recall that the EU regulations got too stringent so they would essentially have to assemble the entire car there to get it "built in EU". Though I'm basing this on my recollection of a rumour, so not worth much

Established car manufacturers transport cars using ro-ro (roll-on, roll-off) ships, but this only works with drive-able cars.
