Picked my new model y up today. Found this lovely white circle of paint on the passenger side. Won’t come off and in the middle there’s a small chip. Also on the other side of the car there was still protective seal on… anyone know what could have happened here and what I should do!?
they clearly are circling a defect, and never fixed it. I'd be pretty annoyed. The paint marker can easily be taken off with alcohol or something, but that's not going to fix the defect that is being circled.
My recommendation would be the clay bar that off and ignore the chip. There’s a 50% chance whatever they do to attempt to fix it will simply make it worse.
