Who will be the new TWTR CEO?

Haven't watched - probably not likely or useful: Although the comments are very positive about Lex.

Kind of surprised that there isn't much speculation on this yet. Perhaps because any CEO won't have full authority?
A little hand holding might work out ok for a bit given Lex probably doesn't have much leadership experience. And Elon likes to promote engineers to senior positions. Maybe it's time for a TWTR vote. :)

I'd guess there's a > 50% chance it happens.

Lex is not qualified but must have a 10%+ chance.

David Sacks is qualified and must have a 10%+ chance. Elon might like a republican at TWTR whilst Biden is POTUS.
It seems likely that the new CEO will be in the Paypal lineage. David Sacks does seem like an obvious choice. One of the most skilled operators in Silicon Valley.

However, this position done well would take quite a bit of energy. And it sounds like Musk is going to require more buy-in, even if he doesn't make the new CEO invest all of his life savings. Don't know how Sacks stands on either of these things.

Don't think it will be Sacks. One, he's too busy with other things. Two, he doesn't want the almost certain negative publicity of a job that will always piss off half the population. Three, he doesn't have the social media/political know-how. Four, he will be a supporter of DeSantis and will hope to play a role in a DeSantis campaign/administration.
