Why does my climate come on by itself?

This morning I saw a notice on my Tesla app that the climate control had been on for 4 hours so it was shut off. The car was in the garage all night being charged so I don't understand why that would happen. It has happened a couple of times before but I don't know if in those cases if it was plugged in.

Here's what my climate setting shows.

A very bad feature called "Smart Preconditioning"
Go turn it off, it never works correctly

I had the same thing happen with my Model 3 twice in the last two weeks. The car was just sitting in the garage and not plugged in. Just started right after upgrading to 28.3.1. I'll have to check my smart preconditioning setting when I get home tonight.
