Will fitting snow chains to Tesla turbine 21" wheels cause damage?

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to drive my Model S P100D to Austria for Skiing. SO therefore I want to carry snow chains to fit if necessary.
I have the 21" Tesla turbine wheels.
Tesla say my warranty will be void fitting snow chains on 21" wheels. Tesla warranty only covers snow chains on the 19" wheels. But Thule produce a snow chain they recommend for Tesla 21" wheels. I do not want to buy another set of wheels if possible. Does anyone have experience using chains with 21" wheels?

I have the 21" Arachnid wheel, and when Iooked at it a year ago, chains would not fit correctly without possibly damaging the body and/or suspension.

I had two options here:

(1) Purchase a set of winter tires for those same rims and have them installed for the trip and then swapped back to your summer tires when you get back

(2) Purchase a set of 19" with winter tires already on it, and keep it handy for future snow trips.
