Will Tesla arrange upgrading rafters if needed?

I’ve had Solar installed by a local company in the past in MA. They upgraded rafters themselves to meet code.

I’m in a new house now in NH. I have an existing garage I want to install panels on. It will likely need rafters beefed up for Solar.

I had attempted to go with Tesla at this location 6 mo ago and they canceled with no reason. They did a site visit.

I want to try again but curious if it was the rafters that they canceled for. I could get that done independently first if that was the reason.

They garage was slightly shaded by the house before too, I have since had it moved and poured a new floor. It’s in a great shape and location now for Solar. But roof probably still needs beefing up.

I would bet no. Tesla does not want to be involved in installs that have additional complications that add costs.

Upgrade the rafters with a local carpenter, then call Tesla back out.
