Windshield Wipers

Push button on left stalk to spray windshield. Wipers wipe several times, followed by one final wipe. Windshield wipers come to rest just visible at lower level of windshield. About 60 seconds later, wipers completely retract so they are out of view. Is this normal?

I would think the wipers would return to the out of sight home position immediately, not being delayed around 60 seconds. Is this delay common to all Model X cars?

I cannot say WRT to all, as I only have one. But mine does it.
