Winter Tires- recommendations & question

Big O recommended

Hankook WiNter i*cept evo3 W330 235/45R18XL 98V BSW Tires​

as winter tires for my model 3 LR/AWD living at 9 k feet in CO. Walmart's site said the manufacturer recommends at least a W speed. Big O didn't think it was important as V is rated for speeds up to 149, while W is 168 mph.

Thoughts?

Speed rating isn't as important as load rating. Tesla shows 98 in the manual, which I would use as a minimum.

Speed rating doesn't matter in the winter IMO. Follow it for sure in the spring/summer months. Load rating however is essential.
