Wiper Service Mode :(

I tried to change my wiper blades today only to find the wiper service button turns "blue' but the wipers stay down. They are ice free and move well in use but the service mode does nothing, Anyone try theirs after 9v?

Did you possibly have the wiper switch in one of the automatic settings? The wiper will not move to the Service setting if the wiper switch is in any position other than OFF. Car must be in PARK (or possibly Neutral, not sure).

I do have them in auto mode, I'll try it in off . The wipers do come up a few minutes after you leave the car as well.

Be careful when changing them: do not lift them more than necessary (1-2 inch).
On tesla, unlike on other car I owned, you cannot fully pull them up and expect them to stay in that position. Even worst: pulling them too much away and you might break them (the spring).
My SC told me to also be careful as soon as the blade is removed to not let it go and smash the window.
