Just for looks. The wrap he used is Avery and it’s not very thick. I don’t think it will protect much at all. No where close to the protection of PPF.
Someone posted this car a few weeks ago and I really liked the lower section. The issue with these kits is you have to glue them to the car. Im not interested in a permanent solution so I tried the wrap.
Just a habit. I’m sure it wouldn’t be a big deal but I’ve always done it. Even when selling cars on Craigslist. You can read my plate on one of the first pictures if you tried.
I think it was $625 for all 4. They had the car for 2 nights and removed everything. You can also drop the rims off for like $500. I just didn’t have the jack pads at the time.
