Yahoo Finance widget

I thought it would be cool to have a little stock ticker in this forum. I looked around and the easiest one to implement that had a chart was from Yahoo. I tested it out with mods beforehand and the response was positive.


Right now it's set to show up in the last post on the page of a thread (in threads with more than one post). Alternatively it could be set to show in the first post (or both). We'll try as is for now and see if people find it useful.

Quotes are delayed 15 minutes.

Just noticed the Yahoo Finance widget popping up here and there in the investor thread, is this new on TMC?

Maybe they are trying to fund TESLIVE through advertising? :wink: I don't mind by the way.

The site admins thought it would be helpful. (So did I.) It's not an ad & doesn't bring in funds.

BTW, you can also use it for quick look-ups by entering another symbol (such as SCTY) in the widget search box.

Yeah, it doesn't generate any revenue for us. I'd guess it does for Yahoo, though. Seems a reasonable trade.
