Yellow headlight not covered under warranty?

Hi,

I scheduled a service about my 2018 Model S yellow border touchscreen and yellow DRL issue.

Looks like their service process has been changed, they sent me a "Service Estimate" the next day and I need to sign the agreement, note the yellow DRL issue is not covered under warranty.

Anyone has done this fix recently and got covered? To me this is a defect and it should be covered.

It's very hard to get someone from the service team on phone, I guess I'll try the online chat about this, this is north jersey by the way.

This seems to be typical of all auto manufacturers these days. They notify customer that a requested repair has a cost that will be charged if it is not covered by their warranty.
If your warranty covers it, then No Charge. If it is not warranty covered, then you are responsible for the charges.
