How can you tell where your car was made and the battery type? What other difference matter between factories. Picked up my Y yesterday.

11th character of VIN tells you Austin or Fremont.

All Model Y LR and Performance are shipping with the exact same 2170 battery. The only Model Ys that ship with 4680 batteries are a handful that are sold as "model y awd" they are not labeled "long range".

I think I'd read that some Model Y LRs from Fremont are shipping with Matrix headlights wheras that's not happening from Austin.

Google it. Your VIN shows what factory manufactured your TESLA. Basically all TESLA’s being manufactured right now use 2170 battery cells; almost none use 4680’s.

Was it a white and black interior? Do you know if the VIN is freemont or texas?
