I bought my car brand new in 2017 February. I have put on almost 43,000 miles on it. I know the bumper to bumper warranty is for 4 years or 50,000 miles. There used to be an option to buy Extended Warranty or Extended Service Agreement or both at some point. I don't see the option to buy...
Can you please tell me which ones would you recommend for Xpel in Chicago area? Were the quotes for full body wrap or partial? Did it also include clear coat protection?
It actually went away for me after about a week or so. I had called Tesla assistance and they told me to let the car suspension "settle". I am at over 27,000 miles now and never had problems.
So sorry for your loss as well. My post with my car damaged is here Chicago area body shop recommendation? My baby got hit while parked!
I see you have AAA, so do I. How has been your experience working with the AAA adjusters so far? Are they offering you an amount that you are happy with? I...
So someone hit my car while it was legally parked this past weekend. I know, heartbreaking and upsetting ! The car was unoccupied while this happened. So I towed the car to the best shop in the Chicago area, Gold Coast Auto Body for repairs. They took a look and after a day, told my...
This is the type of post NO Tesla owner should ever have to write. But here I am. Was parked in the Evanston suburb of Chicago. Went for a nice little walk at night after dinner. Came back to my parking spot and see police cars, two trucks and a whole bunch of people standing looking at my baby...
So I bought brand new MS 90D earlier this year in February. I have almost 14,000 miles on it and I started noticing, over the pas couple of months, a decline in the 80% and 90% charge numbers. I usually plug in 4-5 days a week to charge in the garage and never go above 90%. Earlier I would see...
Yes it was. It will be replaced under warranty but my concern if they will be able to get it right while installing a new glass roof outside of the factory.
So I took delivery mid February of a gorgeous all glass roof Model S. At the time of delivery there was a minor half an inch long crack in the all glass roof. I was told it is not a big deal and I believed the delivery team and took delivery. About 90 days later, I saw that the crack developed...
Not a problem at all! I was wondering if anyone knew how tesla came up with 294 when it can go higher than that number. And since it sounds like it does go beyond 294 for other people, why wouldn't tesla describe the rated range as higher?
So I have had my MS for almost two months now. 90D with HW2 and all glass roof. I started noticing a weird rattle noise coming from the left side of the car around the front left tire when changing lanes. Or anytime I drive over a broken or cracked area on the road concrete or over the pavement...
So I charged to 100% last week and saw this when I stepped in. Rated range is 294 miles for 90D. This is second gen 90D with HW2. Anyone has seen this before?
So the garage has a regular 3 pin outlet (110V). Can anyone please give me a high level estimate of what the cost will be to upgrade the outlet to 240V 30Amp so I can charge my Model S at home? I understand that the cost will vary but I am looking for a high level estimate. I am in the chicago...
Just got off the phone with them. It is a network wide issue and they are working on the fix. It should be done sometime tonight or early tomorrow in the AM.
As is with most Tesla owners who like to hand wash, I love cleaning and detailing the car by hand. But with hand washing and drying with a microfiber matt come those dreaded swirls on the paint that show. And they show a lot more from a distance in the sun. How do you guys take care of that? Any...
