Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Isn't almost running a red light the same as the extremely serious crime of driving through a yellow light ? Quite newsworthy, if you're desperate, or motivated by short interest

Impossible to get quote for insurance on new Model Y

I was in the app yesterday, and the button to purchase, with an effective date was there, but I'm still shopping. Did the app tell you to call when you hit "purchase ?" I had fed in coverage adjustments and matched whet I have now

First Flat in my Model S Plaid: Lessons Learned

I had roadside service replace a tire (yes, the replaced a single tire because they all had alot of tread) and they had a balancer in the van. The cost was around $400, and that was a year ago. He said he spent most of his day on low profile tires. FYI: I found someone that sold an entire...

Tesla Failed to Send in my Registration

It's still happening. Temp plates in CA for almost 3 months , but it's pretty common knowledge that DMV is backed up. I picked up a Tesla Certified M3 and took delivery about 2 hours from here. I spent a couple of hours at the delivery center, and had one minor issue resolved, and also ended...

Tesla App Recognizing TSportline TPMS Sensors?

Some time in 2020 the TPMS to car communication changed. i think it was a proprietary format changed to Bluetooth. The FCC ID shows 433 MHZ. two systems. Keep it in mind if you have extra wheels, and the TPMS system changed. It’s on YT

Model S 75 or Model 3 Performance Stealth?

2018 P3D is still my daily driver. Personally, I've had a 2016 Model S, but a friend has the AWD 75D, and it's a nice car. Roomy, decent acceleration, and he has the acceleration boost. I'd be happy in either car, but the S seems more luxury, and the P3D is cheaper to run, easier to park...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Glad I bought the "Omicron" dip Friday, although I holding out for a bigger dip, in case Musk dumps a bunch of shares in the "next week or so." Yea, I think 12/9 has some meaning

    Numerology on Twitter

This may be a bit simplistic: These are hypothetical- He’s been selling lately, and presuming a 20 day before quarter end for selling rule, he would have until 12/10 to dump some odd 7 billion worth of shares. What if he A) sold equally every day till then, or B) dumped big time 12/9 (if no...

Don't underestimate Kato Road... it's huge, right down the road, and well connected to multiple freeways, close to the port of Oakland. My Model 3 came from the "tent." I see car carriers full of Teslas all the time.

    Numerology on Twitter

Maybe not an original thought, but 12/9 is a signal, and people are speculating whether it's a split or announcement of a split, or something else. Suppose it's when all the additional shares that would constitute his 10 percent are sold, and a stock split or dividend is announced. You can...

Old: don't keep all your eggs in one basket. New: Keep a big egg in one basket, and don't forget it's there

No, and it's particularly insulting that Musk is paying a larger than needed tax bill to support the American Government, that will likely be translated into some sort of negative sentiment. Sure, there may be an agenda here, but when someone hands me 15 billion, I usually thank them in some way.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Similar move here... this is the first time I can remember when a somewhat finite amount of shares are being sold, under a widely discussed timeline, with further pain on the horizon. I'm sort of agreeing that it will end like a fireworks show, we'll all be in pain, but a great time to back up...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Hard to call a bottom, but what's the harm in some buy limit orders between 700-1000, subject to change without notice. What's not to like about EV Credits, price increases, higher margins, and production coming online ? Still think this will be one of the biggest buying gifts in TSLA...
