Saw a carrier taking about 5 white Model Y this morning on my way to work on the LIE. Thing was was that it was going westbound. So it seems they are delivering to Smithtown, then dispatching from there… which logistically makes little sense because between smithtown and the city are about 5-6...

If only we could get this thickness of paint on the body of the car. Haha. No more crying over paint chip issues.

Not sure if directed toward me, but anyways... nothing major. My steering wheel was slightly off center a few degrees and there was a scratch on the inside of the windshield in front of the driver seat. Had an alignment done and windshield replaced. These were the only 2 things I wanted taken...

And it looks like the US Model 3 got the updated door panels of those found in the MIC Model 3. I’m sure those will eventually make their way into the Y, but I much prefer the current one as both my Y the 3 I had i opted for white. The new panel is kinda dark on the white interior now.

Not that it makes a difference now, but I just noticed that the online configurator reflects the updated center console on the Y now. Still no official mention of the heated steering wheel.

Is this a standard range? Or did they forget the dual motor badge on the hatch?
