Picture of your Model Y - Right Now!

End of Q1 discounts too good to pass up, so I traded my '18 Model 3 LRRWD for this. Long list of modifications below: -Tempest wheel cover from EVBASE Was considering upgrading the wheels but I quite like the way this cover matches with Stealth Grey.

    Power Conversion System (PCS) failure

What is the build year/month of your affected Model 3s, if you don't mind sharing? Curious if these failures are happening within a certain date range. I'm wondering if there could be a defective batch of these that are now starting to fail.

Are you planning to own post-warranty?

Front upper control arms @ 83k, replaced essentially at-cost since it is a known issue; just out of the shop yesterday @96k for Power Conversion System failure/replacement.

Are you planning to own post-warranty?

My plan is to keep my Model 3 as a backup vehicle once my Cybertruck arrives. As it already has 96,000+ miles I should be well past the powertrain warranty by then, so if any issues arise I can take my time with the repairs as it will no longer be my daily driver. However, Just this year alone...

    Power Conversion System (PCS) failure

Okay, the PCS was officially replaced out of warranty and I am out $1600. I have filed a complaint with NHTSA. In my opinion, this is far too early of a failure for a component this important to the vehicle. I would equate this to a transmission failure in an ICE car, and this is a big hit to...

    Power Conversion System (PCS) failure

Started around 93,000 miles so definitely out of the main warranty. Just wanted to add myself to the statistics.

    Power Conversion System (PCS) failure

I too am now experiencing this issue on my Nov'18 build Long Range. I can get up to about 8A on my Wall Connector, anything beyond that and amperage drops to 0. Just got a repair estimate of $1800 to replace the PCS. I'll find out next week if it will be covered under any kind of warranty, but...

    dead front usb ports

Just had mobile service last night - for me it turned out to actually be a hardware issue. The mobile tech had to repace the front USB hub. By the way, the mobile repair experience was excellent.

    dead front usb ports

This happened to me as well, although I just noticed it the other day when I noticed my DashCam icon was gone. I have a mobile service appointment for this Wednesday and I'll report back what happens...

Do you intentionally park next to other Teslas?

Sometimes I do when I get a chance.

    Supercharger - Ithaca, NY

Can also confirm the location is up and running, I was there charging about an hour ago. It also shows up on the car's map.

    Ordered on 3/17/2019, assigned a 2018

Congrats! I bought an inventory model with a November build and was not offered a discount. I suspect whether or not you get a discount depends entirely on the store and/or person you are dealing with. I have no regrets though and I love this car!

Should I be upset about receiving a 2018 car?

@Gordon87 hmm, this does makes me wonder - at what point does the odometer mileage warrant a discount? This is definitely subjective, but my feeling is that it should be anything over 100 miles. I guess you could ask where the mileage came from but who knows if what they tell you is truthful. If...

Should I be upset about receiving a 2018 car?

Took delivery of my LR RWD yesterday. It's a 2018 November build 123xxx. What gave me some perspective is that I looked up the build date of my previous car, which was also the most reliable car I've ever owned, which was February. I didn't take delivery of that car until August so that car sat...
