    200,000+ Mileage Club

Since I have had 6 sets of tires (most of them different tires each time,) I thought I would share which ones I like. I do NOT work for a tire place or get any kick-backs, so these are my recommendations as of today. First choice (& best rated according to Discount Tire,) Yokohama ADVAN...

    200,000+ Mileage Club

When I first started shopping, Discount Tire did not have any tires for the Tesla. Now they have plenty. I always get tires with at least a 40,000 mile warranty - so I won't have to pay full price on the next set. After getting the best alignment you can get on your car, you should be able to...

    200,000+ Mileage Club

Correct. I only stay at SC's long enough to reach the next one, which is between 50-80 minutes. Don't EVER get a small battery if you drive distance. A larger battery lets you charge at a higher Wattage, higher Amperage, and shorter amount of time. I was the test-case to prove this. I will...

That is a good question, I have to try to find 4 year old pictures. I think it was full at 208.

    200,000+ Mileage Club

I don't think there are many of us, but I drive 1,000 miles a week. I passed the 200,000 mileage point, so I thought I would share info on my small worn-out 60 battery. My FULL charge is 170: My 80% charge is 151: I drive fast, but my average usage is 352 Watt Hours/mile: I charge...

Spoke with construction Again. The late night workers in the rain is because they hit a water main. Digging 4 ft was not deep enough. They need to redig under the street 7 ft this time, before they can run lines to the transformer. They will be gone next week after stripping & landscape...

I spoke with construction. They are angry because they must wait 2 weeks for Oncor to drop the transformer and run the lines from the other side of the street to the transformer, before they can finish: They are re-grading the last 4 positions because the angle is too high for Handicapped...

Spoke with construction today, they came from installing CO SC's. They said they should be done within 3 weeks, but ONCOR has to bore under the street to get power to the traqnsformers. There could be some delays.

Bad choice of places. At Small Ball field. Walk 13 minutes to a much better choice of restaurants (Joe's, Pappadeaux's, TX Land & Cattle, etc.) here: Google Maps

FYI, the transformer is REALLY loud! There is a ton of power in here. Transformers lose 3% of energy, even if there is nothing being used. The meter shows there has been nothing used - yet. I bet Tesla shows up tomorrow to turn the thing on.

I'll bet construction finishes tomorrow (signs, concrete, & electrician must be there during Inspection,) but when the Tesla staff shows up - THAT is when we want to be there. They don't like us talking to them (or taking pictures,) but I saw the guy when he was working in Denton changing the...
