This can be a problem trying to get in most evenings as everyone is queuing for the McDonald or KFC. A bit tight but you can squeeze by on the right. Facilities in the co-op petrol station aren’t too bad. it was nice to visit today and gain a 100miles before the cars I had passed in the queue...

I noticed the right hand side indicator Flashing double speed earlier this week. Car is on 11k miles. On my previous cars a sure sign of a blown bulb and an easy fix. First thought was, are they traditional bulbs or LED and surely the wiring on the car would be a bit more complicated to avoid...

I previously had a faulty UMC and simply popped into the service station in Bristol. Kindly did a very quick check and handed me a new cable. Not sure if you can really do that at the minute and I may have just got lucky with stock.

Order arrived today. Despite the order tracking going live on Friday it didn’t arrive with DHL until yesterday evening.

This is great and I am sure it will be a very well used site given how busy this stretch of motorway is. Unless a southbound application pops up in due course, the M3 M27 southbound route from London is going to remain tricky for charging.

There are two new 150kw chargers waiting to be unwrapped at the Beckington services just off the A36 in somerset. I’m dropping in every time I pass to check whether they have been switched on. Looking forward to two weeks of free vend there before never using them again!
