Passenger vent not turning off when no passenger

Having driven the car through two heating and cooling seasons, I'd say that I'm way more sensitive to cold drafts in the winter than warm spots when the AC is on. I'm pretty sure that in the past the passenger heat did turn off when the seat wasn't occupied, and I would have to select it on...

New delivery - missing close windows on lock

Still there on my 2021 MYLR, 2022.20.8. Right at the bottom of the Locks page.

    Using Ivy Charger

Yup, tried that and got no response. In hindsight, I suspect the problem might have been because I was already charging another car on CCS, and their system might not allow the same account to be used simultaneously in two locations. I'm passing by there again with just the Tesla next week and...

    Supercharger - Brockville, ON

Agree, but at least having it in a phone app makes it easier. Means maintaining a credit balance on yet another charging account though! Petro-Canada charging stations work with credit card - I used one for a CCS charge on an IONIQ a few weeks ago. CC made it a bit simpler, but then it wanted...

    Supercharger - Brockville, ON

I'll be passing by there next week, might take a detour and see how things look for Brockville.

    Supercharger - Brockville, ON

FYI Ivy chargers are $18/hr plus HST which works out to 34 cents per minute. I thought that would be a good deal compared to Tesla's recently-inflated SC pricing, but if it's limited to 50 kW then that will not be the case. I checked out the two Onroute locations eastbound from Kingston and...

    Autopilot acceleration

I installed 2022.8.2 yesterday, and the release notes claim that it improves autopilot performance in stop-and-go traffic by using more regen braking. I tried it this morning and the operation seemed much jerkier than before, both in decel and accel. A few times I had to tap the accelerator to...

    Supercharger - Brockville, ON

I tried the Ivy charger at Ingleside onRoute last week. It has a permanenently-installed CHAdeMO to Tesla adapter on a 150 kW station - wow, what a heavy beast! Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work, will test another one on my eastbound trip today.

    Using Ivy Charger

I stopped at the Ingleside onRoute station this week and tried their Tesla-adapted CHAdeMO charger. Made 3 attempts but every one terminated after ~30 seconds. Any suggestions on what I might need to do to make it work? Fortunately I didn't actually need a charge!

    Voice Commands after V11 update

There's a lot of room for improvement: "Set my seat to low" turned the heat to high. "Set my seat heater to low" worked properly. In both cases my exact words appeared on the screen, so it interpreted what I was saying correctly. I also used VC to turn off the front defrost. It took...

    2022.4.5

That's certainly my solution. I prefer to have the pedal response the same all the time. I can always decide how hard to press. I do have a dedicated profile with Chill/Creep (and no auto-locks) for putting the car in the garage though.

    2022.4.5

Interestingly, not the case on M3/MY - only stopping mode cannot be changed while driving. Steering response can also be changed while in motion but it's conventional suspension so no adjustments. @JohnB007, everything you modify will automatically be saved to the active driver profile.

    2022.4.5

Welcome to the collective! You should be able to find a PDF owner's manual online - I believe it's accessible through your Tesla account once you have placed an order. That will help you understand the finer points on the car. I think what you're looking for is probably Standard and Chill...

    Suggestions for V11 Rework/Improvements

You're discovering the issues that many of us have been unhappy with since V11 appeared almost 2 months ago. Light controls can be accessed by moving the left stalk forward or back. Fan speed does have one-touch functionality - just tap either side of the dot to move one speed step, or tap at...
